COMPUTATIONAL THINKING USING PYTHON

MITx 6.00.1x and 6.00.2x

I am currently enrolled in an online XSeries Program hosted by MITx. The first course, 'Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python,' covers the notion of computation, the Python programming language, some simple algorithms, testing and debugging, and informal introduction to algorithmic complexity, and some simple algorithms and data structures. The second course, 'Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science,' is teaching me how to use computation to accomplish a variety of goals while also providing me with a brief introduction to a variety of topics in computational problem solving.

PRODUCT DESIGN, PROTOTYPING, AND TESTING

USMx - ENES608.3

From this online course, I am learning how to transition new product ideas into prototyping and concept testing. The course focuses on an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to engineering design, concurrent engineering, design for manufacturing, industrial design, and the business of new product development. Many of the topics covered include design methods, modeling and simulation, material and manufacturing process selection, platform and modular design, mass customization, planning and scheduling.

ADOBE LIGHTROOM AND PHOTOSHOP

Self-Taught

Given my growing interest in photography, I am learning how to effectively use two common photo editing tools, Lightroom and Photoshop. Much of my learning is done through hands on trial-and-error as I will regularly edit a variety of pictures that I have taken. So far, I have learned how to navigate the softwares as well as acquainted myself with many of the basic tools, though, there is still much to learn. Thus, I also frequently reference online videos and tutorials to further develop my proficiency.
